Meet Jane Sullivan Horne

I come from a large, very close family and learned to really enjoy the opportunities we had to be together. I have lived on The Water's Edge at Smith Mountain Lake for twenty years. My husband Bill and son Trey have created a wonderful home there where we enjoy a rich social life full of "lake activities".

I first became involved in sales to put myself through school at Appalachian State University. I have worked in Real Estate for the same company for nineteen years. I especially like working with people that become neighbors.

It allows me to introduce people to the great benefits of living here, as well as the people who are already here. My job is to sell FUN and that makes it the Greatest Job in the World!

As a native of North Carolina, I originally became involved in sales to put myself through school at Appalachian State University. In 1983, I moved to Smith Mountain Lake and have enjoyed a successful career as a full time Realtor for the past 25 years.

My home is at The Water's Edge with my husband, Bill, and son, Trey. In 1986, I became the first permanent resident of The Water's Edge. This has been a great source of joy for me as well as a real benefit for my customers. I live here, work here, and play here, so I know the lake and its surrounding areas.
